The application period is currently closed. The next application period is scheduled to begin in November 2025.
Presentations will be given in two formats: oral presentations (for young researchers and general participants) and poster presentations (for all participants). Presentations may be given in Japanese or English. There is a limit to the number of oral presentations and posters, so please register early.
(The same presentation may be given in both oral and poster formats. Oral presentations are limited to participants aged 35 or younger at the time of registration.)
Any topic related to rubber, elastomers, or soft materials is acceptable. Previously presented work is also acceptable.
You may choose from the following three options.
1) Presentation in the conventional manner
Please select the appropriate theme from the following ① to ⑳.
① Synthesis and Polymerization, ② Structure, ③ Properties, ④ Analytical Methods and Evaluation Techniques, ⑤ New Materials, ⑥ Nanotechnology, ⑦ Simulation, ⑧ Thermoplastic Elastomers,⑨ Formulation, ⑩ Compounding, ⑪ Molding and Processing, ⑫ Adhesion and Adhesives, ⑬ Molds, ⑭ Deterioration, Life, and Reliability, ⑮ Tribology, ⑯ Recycling, Green Chemistry, and Environment, ⑰ Hygiene, Allergy, and Healthcare, ⑱ Energy-Related, ⑲ Others, ⑳ Introduction of New Products and Technologies (Poster Presentations Only)
2) Presentations on specific topics
A session themed “Bridging Rubber Technology and Data Science” will be held, accepting general oral presentations.
※There will be no young researcher presentations in this session. Young researchers are requested to select a topic from the “1) Conventional Methods” section above. Please note that even if you submit a general presentation using the conventional methods, we may change it to the “2) Topic Theme” section, and vice versa.
3) Presentations in the English Session
An “English Session” will be held. Those who wish to present in English should select this session (oral presentations only).
1) Oral presentations will be conducted using a liquid crystal projector. Please bring your own computer (please also bring a USB memory stick as a backup).
2) Oral presentations will be 15 minutes each (12 minutes for the presentation, 2 minutes for discussion, and 1 minute for switching presenters).
If you wish to give a follow-up presentation on a related topic, please indicate the order as ① or ② (follow-up presentations cannot be given by young researchers and general presenters).
Presenters must be members of the The Society of Rubber Science and Technology, Japan (regular or student members).
Please submit your application by January 31, 2025 (Friday).

The acceptance of presentation applications and the program schedule will be determined by the Annual Meeting Steering Committee.
The preliminary manuscript should be one A4-sized page.
Manuscripts must be submitted as PDF files attached to an email.
