given in Japanese or English.
※The same presentation may be given in both the oral and poster formats.
※Oral presentations by young researchers are limited to those aged 35 or younger at the time
of application.
Presentation content may pertain to rubber, elastomers, or soft materials. Previously presented content is acceptable, provided it offers sufficient value for discussion.
Presentations will be conducted in the following two ways.
1)Traditional method
Please select an appropriate topic from the following list:
①Synthesis and Polymerization, ②Structure, ③Properties, ④Analysis Methods and Evaluation
Techniques, ⑤New Materials, ⑥Nanotechnology, ⑦Simulation, ⑧Thermoplastic Elastomers,⑨
Compounding, ⑩ Mixing, ⑪ Molding and Processing, ⑫ Adhesion and Adhesives, ⑬ Molds, ⑭
Deterioration, Life, and Reliability, ⑮ Tribology, ⑯ Recycling, Green Chemistry, and
Environment, ⑰ Hygiene, Allergy, and Healthcare, ⑱ Energy-related, ⑲ Others
2) Presentations on specific topics
In addition to the above, we will hold discussions focused on the themes of “Carbon
Neutrality and Circular Economy in Rubber” and “Digital Transformation and Material
Informatics in Rubber.”
If you wish to present in this session, please indicate your preference when submitting your
application.
・This presentation session is for general presentations only. For young researchers' presentations, please select a theme from the “1) Conventional Method” above.
・Please note that even if you apply for a general presentation under “1) Conventional Method,” we may change it to a “2) Topic Theme” presentation, or vice versa.
※Please note that English presentations are becoming more common in recent years, so English sessions will be discontinued from this year onwards, and presentations will be made in English as part of the oral presentations (young researchers and general).
Oral presentations will be 20 minutes each (14 minutes for the presentation, 5 minutes for discussion, and 1 minute for switching). If you wish to make a related consecutive presentation, please indicate the order as ① and ② (consecutive presentations by young researchers and general presenters are not possible).
Presenters must be members of the Society of Rubber Science and Technology, Japan (regular or student members).
Please submit your application by
