This article shows some applications of the numerical simulation for noise and vibration analysis in the industrial design field. In these applications, we often need an adequate constitutive modeling of the rubber material to describe the behavior of the rubber parts accurately. This article introduces an activity of the subcommittee meeting for non-linear material modeling, organized by Japan Association for Non-linear CAE (NPO), which help us to develop/study the modeling of the rubber material in FEM simulations.
