For mechanically strong and lightweight materials, nanocelluloses (NCs) have a range of promising properties leading to fiber-reinforced thermoplastic nanocomposites. Herein, we propose a practical approach for the preparation of cellulose nanofiber- reinforced high-density polyethylene (HDPE) nanocomposite materials with the assist of polymer dispersants via the Simultaneous nano-Fibrillation Compounding (SFC) Process.
