Butadiene rubbersiBRjobtained by polymerization of 1,3-butadiene are one of general-purpose rubber and are produced all over the world. High cis-BR prepared from Ziegler-type catalyst and low cis-BR polymerized by anionic polymerization are widely used in the industry fields such as materials for tire and so on. These rubbers have good low-temperature properties, high rebound resilience, and excellent wear resistance compared with natural rubbers and styrene-butadiene rubbers. In this paper, synthetic methods and properties of BR produced industrially are reported.
