At the 2025 Annual Meeting (14th Regular General Meeting of Members), in addition to the traditional research presentation, we are preparing a topic theme, “Bridging Rubber Technology and Data Science,” and an English session to facilitate lively discussion and interaction among participants. In the evening of the first day, we will hold a mixer as a place for participants to interact. We look forward to seeing many of you there.
Program(Japanese Only) has been posted.
In line with efforts to promote paperless initiatives from an environmental conservation perspective, the abstracts of research presentation will be published in electronic format (PDF files).
Participation registration is now open. Early bird registration is available until April 18 (Fri).
The deadline for research presentation submissions has been extended to February 7 (Fri) at noon.
Research presentation submissions are now being accepted.
“Bridging Rubber Technology and Data Science”
Rubber technology is a field that has developed and matured through trial and error based on experience and intuition, but it is now taking a new step forward through its integration with data-driven research and development methods, which have been developing rapidly in recent years.Among these are materials informatics, which combines computer simulations such as finite element methods, molecular dynamics, and quantum chemical calculations for predicting properties from the macro to the micro scale, with artificial intelligence (AI) and machine learning for material selection and life prediction based on vast amounts of accumulated data. This new research methodology is attracting considerable attention. The purpose of this event is to disseminate this new research methodology in an easily understandable manner to a wide range of rubber engineers.
