Information

Through interaction with members engaged in the research and development of rubber, elastomers, and soft materials at various events hosted by The Society of Rubber Science and Technology, Japan, you can obtain high-quality information.

• Research Presentations

  You can participate in the annual conference, summer seminar, and elastomer symposium hosted by The Society of Rubber Science and Technology, Japan at member rates.

• Research Subcommittees (Subcommittees)

  You can participate in subcommittee activities divided into 14 themes as a place for joint research, information exchange, and study sessions.

• Branch Events

  Each branch(Kanto, Tokai, Kansai, Kyushu) plans and hosts various seminars and tours that incorporate the characteristics of their respective regions.

You can share your research findings.

• Research Presentations

  You can present your research findings at the spring Annual Meeting and autumn Elastomer Symposium through oral presentations or posters.

• Paper Presentations

  You can publish your research findings in the Nippon Gomu Kyokaishi. Regular members and student members can submit papers at any time.

• ※1A one-time enrollment fee of 1,000 yen is required upon enrollment.
• ※2For individual members enrolling mid-year, the first year's membership fee varies depending on the enrollment period.
  • ・Enrollment from April to September: Regular Member*1 9,000 yen, Student Member 4,500 yen
  • ・Enrollment from October to March: Regular Member*1 4,500 yen, Student Member 2,250 yen
• ※3Members residing overseas, as well as those wishing to have the association journal shipped overseas, will be charged a separate annual shipping fee (Surface Mail: ¥1,800, Air Mail: ¥6,600).

In addition to bank transfers, you can also pay by credit card.

*If you transfer funds via your bank's domestic branch in Japan, you will be charged double fees, so please transfer funds directly to the above account.

Application Form

• Depending on the membership category you select, you will be directed to the appropriate application form for individuals (regular members, student members), corporations (supporting members), name changes (individual members only), or subcommittees (only for those whose employer is a supporting member).
• In the Corporate (Supporting Member) Application Form, the “Contact Person” will be the mailing address for association publications.
• Regular Members, Student Members, and Supporting Members will have their names and affiliations (company name only for Supporting Members) listed in the association journal. Supporting Members will also have their company names listed on the Supporting Members page of the association's website. If you have any objections to the publication of your information, please indicate this in the “Comments to the Secretariat” section of the application form.
