Our swelling experiments have confirmed that test gasoline specified in JIS K6258 or ISO 1817, that is, mixture of isooctane and toluene, will simulate field gasoline almost exactly for NBR and FKM, satisfactorily for FVMQ. In case of PE, above-mentioned mixture can simulate field gasoline in high aromatic concentration range.
For diesel fuel, we have prepared new mixture by analysis of field diesel fuel, and this mixture is considered to simulate field diesel fuel satisfactorily.
