Therefore, the relationship between vehicle performances and tire design parameters has not been theoretically constructed. This study has built up a tire design methodology, based on the vehicle dynamics and the tire mechanics. The developed tire design methodology can clarify the relation between vehicle performances, tire characteristics, tire components, and tire design parameters, and is found useful.
