Abstract In recent years, the automotive industry is furthering developments of environment-friendly technologies. In the field of adhesives for the automobile, the adoption of water based adhesives, lead-free adhesives, etc. is advanced. Besides, the lightweight aluminum auto-body which adopted adhesive bonding for the purpose of improvement in fuel consumption has appeared.
