Home > Applying for Membership How to apply Membership of SRIJ provides you with vastly increased opportunities to learn early of wide numbers of new developments and state-of-the-art information about research and technology in rubber and elastomers. Members are sent a copy of NIPPON GOMU KYOKAISHI (the Journal of SRIJ）every month. Members are also given first priority for attending at member rates the SRIJ Annual Meeting, the Summer Seminar, the Elastomer Symposium and research presentations, research subcommittee meetings, symposia, lectures, and other local chapter events, as well as being given the opportunity to purchase books and other publications at member rates. Chances to participate Three maine events The three annual main events are the SRIJ Annual Meeting, the Summer Seminar and the Elastomer Symposium. The following subcommittee meetings are also held to provide forums for joint investigative research, the exchange of information, and study groups. Chances to present research results Oral presentations The SRIJ Annual Meeting held each spring and the Elastomer Symposium held each autumn provide an opportunity to present research results. Presentations of papers NIPPON GOMU KYOKAISHI provides a forum for the publication of research reports. Papers may be submitted at any time by either regular or student members. Membership fees Individual Membership Fees Supporting Member Fees * Membership fees include full membership from January to December for the year of application. Persons applying for membership in the middle of a year will be charged on a monthly basis. Please inquire for details.
